“MARKET WEEK” at Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre!!!!!

We are currently in discussions  and planning stages for our next Market Week – please come back to this page soon to check for updates.MARKET WEEKS – A week with loads of exposure for the work at home business exhibitors and the market.   Market Weeks also draw lots of new faces to our future markets and will be great for everyone’s business.
To hire a spot at the shopping centre yourself it would be very costly over $330/day + 25% peek trade loading [based on daily cost for a much smaller site] and not feasible for many of you + your insurance cover requirements & cost ect.  Hence,  I developed the concept of the “market week” creating a new avenue for our high end business stallholders.  By having a shared site and covered under my insurance it reduces the cost for you to $60  to $80 single/day or $180 to $250 super double/day.  The fees include you table/s,  Shopping Centre Public Liability which is higher cost than normal PLI and your shopping centre site.

  • Opportunity to market & sell your product and to entice new people to the Babies & Kids Markets to give you ongoing sales
Understanding some of you may think that $60 to $250/day is costly in consideration perhaps of $$ value of product you may sell, you need to also think of it as marketing  – directing people to your website or facebook page or a flyer/business card where your products or services are available.  From market research people are visual and buy according to what they see and how it looks & feels, so you are in a prime location to display your products & to sell as well as promote.  Plus the ”ATM” machines are right there in the centre for people to make purchases.
Site Fees Include: Table, Clothing Rack if you require it (please see schedule to where applicable) & Public Liability Insurance up to $20m for Shopping Centre Insurance. To be part of our market week you will be required to handout flyers for the coming Nth Qld Babies & Kids Market in November.

Please contact me with your requested days and I will confirm an allocation for you.  I take a minimum of a 2 day booking and will invoice you on confirmation of your spot. If you lease a Saturday you must also lease the Sunday.

Future Market Weeks

MACKAY – We are currently planning our next event at Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre.  It will be a shared 4m x 5m site with 3 to 5 exhibitors per day.   To express interest please complete an online application form. 

TOWNSVILLE – We are currently not scheduled for Townsville, but would love to hear from homebased business who would like to be part of our Market Week and can complete an online application form.
